Recipe serves 4
400g 1 pair flaked Arbroath Smokies (order online at arbroathsmokiesdirect.co.uk) 2 eggs, 1/3 pint of white sauce, small amount of grated cheese + 1oz butter
Make your white sauce (works with packet sauce mix if preferred) separate the eggs, beat egg white to stiffen, fold egg yolk in the flaked smokie and add to the white sauce, fold in the egg whites + add the cheese + butter, pour the whole lot in an oven proof dish for 20 mins at 180or until golden brown on top.
